Makoto is an ordinary high school girl who spends her days goofing off with friends and avoiding responsibility. But when she suddenly gains the power to leap back in time, she uses it to fix bad grades, dodge awkward moments, and make everyday life a little easier. What starts as harmless fun soon takes a more serious turn, as Makoto begins to realise that even small changes can have serious consequences. A visually inventive and emotionally resonant coming-of-age anime, blending sci-fi with heartfelt storytelling, that won Animation of the Year at the Japan Academy Awards 2006.

David Jenkins, Time Out

‘The characters are entirely credible and likeable, the simply drawn figures highly effective against the lush background artwork. Time travel has rarely seemed so joyous’
