Oxford Comedy Festival 2026

The Oxford Festival Fringe Preview Comedy Festival (Oxford Comedy Festival for short) is a month-long comedy festival happening throughout July created and curated by QED Comedy Lab. Bringing the best comedians headed to Edinburgh and other large festivals to the Oxford community.

The fetsival asked comedians to select films that influenced their sense of humour, expanded what they though comedy could be, or that they just really love and then introduce the film live before the screenings. It’s a eclectic mix of cult favourites and classics that you’re sure to love.

Plan your visit

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
