What We Do In The Shadows15

Directed by Jemaine Clement & Taika Waititi | New Zealand | 2014 | 1h 25m | Starring Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, Rhys Darby, Jonny Brugh, Ben Fransham

Four vampires, one flat, and absolutely no idea how to work a washing machine. This razor-sharp mockumentary follows Wellington’s least competent creatures of the night as they navigate the very modern headaches of flatmate squabbles, nightclub bouncers, and the eternal question of whose turn it is to do the dishes. Things get complicated when flatmate Peter bites local hipster Nick and recruits him into the undead, leaving the group to shepherd a brand-new vampire through eternity, one awkward night at a time.

Our screening on Sunday 12th July will be introduced by award winning comedian Caitriona Dowden.

This screening is presented in partnership with The Oxford Festival Fringe Preview Comedy Festival – a month-long comedy festival happening throughout July created and curated by QED Comedy Lab.
