Prabha is a devoted nurse whose husband left for work abroad soon after their arranged marriage. Her younger roommate and colleague, Anu, is secretly involved with a Muslim man, while Parvati, a widowed neighbour, faces intense pressure from property developers to leave her home. Set in working-class Mumbai, this ravishingly shot and remarkably poignant drama follows the intertwining lives of these three women, celebrating the transformative power of sisterhood.
