Sandra, her husband Samuel, and their eleven-year-old son Daniel live a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. But when Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police immediately suspect Sandra of his murder. Winner of the Palme d’Or (Best Film) at the Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, this sharply written and captivating crime drama tackles the often-elusive nature of truth itself.

Reviews

‘This whole film has a wizardry to it which you’ll be thinking about for days, to the internal beat of those steel drums, boinging over and over.’
★★★★★
Tim Robey, The Telegraph

‘‘Rear Window meets ‘Marriage Story’..,Anatomy of a Fall is a family drama that wears the clothes of a crime procedural – a whodunit where marriage itself feels like a prime suspect.’
★★★★
Philip De Semlyen, Time Out
