One of the most controversial figures in contemporary society, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has become an emblem of an international arm wrestle between the UK, the USA, Ecuador and Sweden. With Julian now facing a 175-year sentence if extradited to the US, his family members are confronting the prospect of losing Julian forever to the abyss of the US justice system. This documentary follows Julian’s father and Stella Assange (Julian’s wife) as they advocate for Julian against the might of governments on three continents and the glare of the world’s media.
A one-off screening followed by a Q&A with Stella Assange, Adrian Devant (film producer and Stella’s brother), and Christopher Hird (Head of Dartmouth Films).

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
