A struggling Maltese fisherman must make an agonising choice: repair his leaking luzzu boat that has been in his family for generations, or decommission it in exchange for a government pay-out. The Sundance Jury award-winning debut of writer-director Alex Camilleri is both an intimate character study as well as a soulful lament at the loss of cultural tradition in the face of political progress.

We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts.
