Dune12A

Directed by Denis Villeneuve | USA | 2021 | 2h 35m | Starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin

Epic adaptation of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel, about the gifted son of a noble family who is sent to a dangerous planet to protect the galaxy’s most valuable asset from warring malevolent forces. With spectacular visuals and bold story-telling, acclaimed filmmaker Denis Villeneuve’s ambitious space-opera is science fiction at its biggest and boldest.

Reviews

‘It is a film of such literal and emotional largeness that it overwhelms the senses.’
★★★★★
Clarisse Loughery, The Independent

‘Denis Villeneuve’s slow-burn space opera fuses the arthouse and the multiplex to create an epic of otherworldly brilliance. Blockbuster cinema at its dizzying, dazzling best.’
★★★★★
Xan Brooks, The Guardian

Plan your visit

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
