Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma15

Directed by Jane Schoenbrun | USA | 2026 | 1h 52m | Starring Gillian Anderson, Hannah Einbinder, Jack Haven, Patrick Fischler, Jess McLeod

After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original’s star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium. Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw The TV Glow) creates a bloody and bewildering meta world of queer desire, starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson.

Reviews

‘A thrilling and funny deconstruction of horror tropes and a personal ode to open self-expression.’
★★★★★
Hannah Strong, Little White Lies

‘A meta horror-comedy and a whip-smart entertainment industry satire. Still, on a deeper level, in a hole at the bottom of its lake, is a hard-won sexual awakening.’
★★★★★
Sophie Monks Kaufman, Time Out
