After his wife’s passing, Kenzaburo receives an unexpected letter from beyond the grave. In it, his late wife asks him to take their son to Lake Windermere in England to scatter her ashes. Haunted by both the joy and sorrow of their shared past, he embarks on the journey from Tokyo to fulfil her final wish. With a heartfelt performance from Lily Franky (Shoplifters), Patrick Dickinson’s deeply emotional debut is a poignant exploration of family, love, and forgiveness.
