Two To One12A

Directed by Natja Brunckhorst | Germany | 2024 | 1h 55m | German w/ English subtitles | Starring Sandra Hüller, Max Riemelt, Ronald Zehrfeld, Ursula Werner, Peter Kurth

After the Berlin Wall falls, an East German family stumbles upon a hidden bunker filled with cash – money that’s quickly losing its value. Teaming up with their neighbours, they launch a frantic, often hilarious quest to spend it all and dive headfirst into the capitalist world. Starring Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall, Toni Erdmann), Natja Brunckhorst’s warm and witty comedy explores the tension between socialist ideals and capitalist ambition, told through the bonds of family and friendship.
