Made between 2011 and 2016, this poignant documentary follows the lives of three queer and trans black youths who become homeless after being kicked out by their families. Creating their own community around New York’s Christopher Street Pier, they are forced to contend with life on the streets. An intimate and moving portrait of the means to be young, black and queer in New York today – 50 years after the Stonewall riots – by first-time filmmaker and former ‘Pier Kid’ Elegance Bratton.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
