James Cagney and Joan Blondell star as a cheeky bellhop and a dishy blonde setting a criminal scheme in motion to rob guests at the hotel where they work.
Jean Harlow, the ultimate blonde bombshell of 30s Hollywood, rinsed her hair scarlet to play a social-climbing homewrecker in this audacious, cynical and often hilarious Pre-Code classic.
One of the rare Pre-Code films set in Europe, Jewel Robbery is the story of a Viennese lady caught in the midst of a diabolical jewel heist by a gentleman thief.
Barbara Stanwyck stars as a determined young dame climbing the workplace ladder one man at a time in this risqué classic of the Pre-Code Hollywood era.
Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
