Women Talking15

Directed by Sarah Polley | USA | 2022 | 1h 44m | Starring Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Frances McDormand, Judith Ivey

A group of women living in an isolated religious community struggle to reconcile their faith with a string of crimes committed by the men of the colony. In a sunlit barn, the women debate: should they stay, as is expected, and forgive their attackers? Or flee to create a new life for themselves? A politically charged story of shared trauma and solidarity starring Jessie Buckley, Rooney Mara, Claire Foy and three-time Oscar winner Frances McDormand. Nominated for for two Oscars, including Best Picture.
