Wild At Heart18

Directed by David Lynch | USA | 1990 | 2h 5m | Starring Nicolas Cage, Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe, Harry Dean Stanton, Isabella Rossellini

After being released from prison for murdering a man in self-defence, Sailor reunites with his girlfriend Lula and the pair hit the road leaving their troubles behind. Or so they think. They soon find themselves fleeing a hitman hired by Lula’s mother and a sinister outlaw both out to get Sailor. Booed by audiences when it played at Cannes Film Festival and poorly received by critics at the time, David’s Lynch’s lurid road-movie has become a cult classic, a compelling mix of lustful romance, curious kitsch, and unnerving dread.

Join us on New Years Eve and again on Bank Holiday Monday (2nd Jan) for screenings of The Wizard of Oz and new documentary Lynch/Oz – which draws parallels between David Lynch’s work and Victor Flemings’ 1939 family classic, The Wizard of Oz. Use the link underneath for more info.
