Somewhere, over the rainbow, a young girl becomes lost in the magical Kingdom of Oz and tries to get home with the help of a scarecrow, a tinman, and a cowardly lion.
Oz / Lynch/Oz / Lynch
With the release of new documentary Lynch/Oz – which find parallels between the work of American filmmaker David Lynch and 1939 family classic The Wizard of Oz – we decided to take a trip over the rainbow and into the Californian desert on New Year’s Eve.
Join us for afternoon screenings of Victor Fleming’s family classic, followed by documentary Lynch/Oz, and finally hit the road with Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern in Lynch’s 1990s cult classic Wild At Heart. If you can’t make it on New Year’s Eve, we’re showing all three films again on Bank Holiday Monday (2nd Jan).

Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern star as lovers on the run in David’s Lynch’s lurid road-movie which – booed by audiences when it first played at Cannes Film Festival – has become a 1990s cult classic.
Plan your visit
Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
