Wicked: For GoodPG

Directed by Jon M. Chu | USA | 2025 | 2h 17m | Starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Colman Domingo

Now vilified as the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba now lives in isolation deep within the Ozian forest. Meanwhile, Glinda remains in Emerald City, enjoying the privileges that come with her fame and public admiration. As a hostile mob gathers against the Wicked Witch, Elphaba must reunite with Glinda to reshape her destiny, and the future of all Oz, once and for all. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return for the concluding chapter of Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of the acclaimed Broadway musical inspired by the classic Wizard of Oz story.

Reviews

‘What a performance from Erivo; it is genuinely moving when the Prince has to convince Elphaba what we, the audience, have always known: that she is beautiful.’
