M. Night Shyamalan | 2021 | Starring Gael García Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Rufus Sewell, Thomasin McKenzie, Alex Wolff, Abbey Lee.

With their marriage on the rocks, a husband and wife book an exotic holiday for the family. However, along with a group of strangers, they become trapped on a secluded beach which causes them to age rapidly, reducing their entire lives into a single day. Can they escape before their time runs out? A Twilight Zone-esque plot and a star-studded cast make this intriguing horror-thriller one of M. Night Shyamalan’s best recent works.

Reviews

‘Old is an enthrallingly bizarre piece of old-fashioned entertainment…I was on the edge of my seat, not knowing whether to flinch or laugh, though I did both.’ ★★★★★ Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

‘At a time when so many films feel devoid of personality, as if they have cynically been made to be as bland as possible, he is one of the few directors with a strong sensibility and a passion that shines through in his work.’ Hannah Strong, Little White Lies

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
