Paris, 1959. Young film critic Jean-Luc Godard is determined to make his first feature film. Defying convention, tight budgets, and sceptical producers, he and his collaborators spark a quiet revolution in cinema, capturing the restless energy of the era. In this affectionate and highly entertaining comedy-drama, American filmmaker Richard Linklater (The Before Trilogy, Boyhood) takes us behind the scenes of the making of Breathless, a defining work of the French New Wave.
