A young man makes a meagre living in an underground fight club, enduring nightly beatings from more celebrated fighters for money. After years of harbouring deep-seated anger, he devises a plan to infiltrate the inner circle of the city’s corrupt elite. As his childhood traumas resurface, he unleashes a relentless campaign of vengeance against the men who stripped him of everything. Dev Patel’s directorial debut is a brutal revenge thriller, filled with bone-crunching action and sociopolitical commentary.
