Kino Kids Cinema Club: The IllusionistPG

Directed by Sylvain Chomet | France | 2010 | 1h 19m

A kind but aging magician leaves France and travels to the wild and beautiful countryside of Scotland, hoping to bring some magic back to his struggling show. There, he meets a curious young girl who believes his tricks are real, and the two set off on a heartwarming adventure that changes both of their lives. From the director of Belleville Rendez-Vous and based on a story by beloved French comedian Jacques Tati, this enchanting animated film is a gentle, touching tale about friendship, imagination, and the magic of believing.

Tickets for Kino Kids Cinema Club screenings are £4 for Children (under-15s) and £6 for Adults. Screenings are relaxed, meaning that the sound will be turned down a notch, and the lights will be up a little, and we don’t mind if people make a bit of noise or move around during the film.

All children (aged 11 and under) must be accompanied by adults at all times, nor shall we admit adults who do not have children with them. If you have any questions or need any more information about these screenings, please feel free to get in touch by emailing us at: [email protected]
