Hounds15
A father and son carry out small trafficking jobs for the local mafia in the working class suburbs of Casablanca. One night, the man they were supposed to kidnap dies accidentally in their car, leaving them with an even more dangerous task on their hands. Kamal Lazraq’s gritty thriller offers an uncompromising portrait of Morocco’s underworld pushed to the margins of crime, violence, and murder.
Reviews
“There are hints of Quentin Tarantino, Nicolas Winding Refn and Alejandro González Iñárritu in this punchy, scrappy film whose two lead characters are all too obviously less important to the criminal overlords than the actual dogs in their macho contests.’
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
