From his boyhood in Prague to his final days in Vienna, award-winning director Agnieszka Holland brings Franz Kafka to life in a richly imagined portrait. Moving fluidly between past and present, the film offers a haunting, intimate exploration of one of the 20th century’s most influential literary minds.
