In 1990s Germany, two young lovers are swept along in a whirlwind romance. They quickly get married and the future looks bright, but with the 21st-century looming a change in circumstances shakes their relationship to its core. Anne Zohra Berrached’s captivating love story paints an intriguing portrait of Europe caught in cultural upheaval and political flux.
‘An intriguing portrait of Germany through a time of massive cultural transition and integration, East and West, immigrants and natives.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
