Bulk + Director Q&A15

Directed by Ben Wheatley | UK | 2025 | 1h 35m + 30m Q&A | Starring Sam Riley, Alexandra Maria Lara, Mark Monero, Noah Taylor

When an overzealous scientist pushes his string theory experiments too far, his “brane” explodes, and someone has to deal with the fallout. Reluctant hero Corey Harlan is sent in, kicking and screaming, to locate the heart of the brane and confront its creator. Mirroring the fate of its characters, the film’s very fabric is gradually dismantled: sets, structures, and even the cameras used to shoot it are deconstructed on screen. Ben Wheatley’s mind-bending thriller echoes sci-fi classics such as Alphaville and Primer, while also serving as a love letter to the art of filmmaking.

Join us for a one-off screening with an in-person Q&A with director Ben Wheatley.

Seating for this event is unallocated. Please arrive early if you have a preferred seat (doors open at 5.30pm).
