Anaïs In Love12A

Directed Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet | France | 2021 | 1h 38m | French w/ English subtitles | Starring Anaïs Demoustier, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Denis Podalydès, Jean-Charles Clichet

A free-spirited and impulsive young woman careers from one lover to the next while trying to find some direction in her life. Following a brief dalliance with an older man, she soon finds herself captivated instead by his beautiful long-time partner, a successful and beguilingly charismatic writer. Charlene Bourgeois-Tacquet’s playful and passionate debut features stunning Paris and Brittany locations and a lead performance of immense charm by Anaïs Demoustier.

Reviews

‘Anaïs would be insufferable to know, but she’s arresting to watch, and it’s perfectly understandable why even the most even-keeled men — and women — who blow into her path find it so hard to look away.’
