Bad Education15
In 1980s Madrid, filmmaker Enrique is visited by Ignacio, a childhood friend he hasn’t seen in years. Ignacio brings a story he has written about their time together at a Catholic school, where they experienced abuse at the hands of a priest. As Enrique begins to adapt the story for the screen, long-buried memories begin to surface. Blending noir, melodrama and film-within-a-film storytelling, this provocative and emotionally charged drama explores guilt, identity and the lasting impact of childhood trauma. One of Pedro Almodóvar’s most personal films, Bad Education is a complex meditation on memory and the stories we tell to survive.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
