Scream18

Directed by Wes Craven | USA | 1996 | 1h 51m | Starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Drew Barrymore

A costumed killer with a love of scary movies is stalking the small town of Woodsboro. Wes Craven’s direction and Kevin Williamson’s script are as sharp as Ghostface’s knives and, while the body count rises, Williamson argues that “the Scream movies are coded in gay survival.” Presented as part of the Fright’s Out! season, with an introduction by Dr Michael Goodrum.
