The Way We Talk12A
Set in contemporary Hong Kong, three deaf friends navigate life with distinct perspectives on what it means to embrace a deaf identity. As their views on communication and self-expression begin to diverge, tensions rise as they try to stay true to their impassioned beliefs. Renowned for his films exploring youth culture, director Adam Wong returns with a powerful and compassionate story that sheds light on the biases of the hearing world, while offering a heartfelt portrait of friendship, identity, and the longing for community.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
