Join us for a masterclass with Writer, director and Producer Chee Keong Cheung and CEO of Action Xtreme, as they provide practical tips and tricks for including action sequences in your films. Action Xtreme will share their extensive knowledge, expertise, and industry experience to help you plan and produce action content safely, no matter your budget. Whether you’re making short films or looking to step up to a micro-budget feature and beyond, if you want to shoot action you won’t want to miss this event.

Chee Keong Cheung is an award-winning British-Chinese writer, director, producer and distributor. He is the CEO of Action Xtreme, an innovative UK-based action film studio and also head of Distribution at Sovereign. He has worked in the industry for over 20 years. As the CEO of Action Xtreme, Chee oversees the development and production of action content for the studio, whilst actively supporting talent growth and development through various initiatives and events. He has delivered numerous masterclasses at universities and industry events across the UK including the BFI as well as serving on the Jury of festivals such as the Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge and the Fighting Spirit Film Festival, demonstrating his commitment to fostering the next generation of filmmakers.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
