A Different Man15

Directed by Aaron Schimberg | USA | 2024 | 1h 52m | Starring Sebastian Stan, Adam Pearson, Renate Reinsve, Miles G. Jackson, Neal Davidson

An aspiring actor with neurofibromatosis undergoes a radical procedure to dramatically alter his appearance. But when a charismatic stranger with the same genetic condition enters his life, his sense of “normality” is challenged, and his artistic dreams are thrown into doubt. Starring Sebastian Stan (this year’s Silver Bear winner for Best Leading Performance at the Berlin Film Festival), Adam Pearson (Under the Skin), and Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person In the World), this bold social satire tackles complex questions of identity and authenticity with striking honesty.

★★★★★
Drew Gillis, The AV Club

‘Sebastian Stan’s dream role turns into a nightmare in brilliant and hilarious thriller about who people are under the skin.’
