The Flop House is a bimonthly podcast devoted to the worst in recent film. Your hosts (former Daily Show writers Elliott Kalan and Dan McCoy along with their friend Stuart Wellington) watch a film that was a financial or critical failure before each episode, and then engage in an unscripted, slightly inebriated discussion, focusing on the movie’s shortcomings and occasional delights. The podcast, found on the Maximum Fun Podcast Network, has been running strong for over twelve years now and is making its first and only (so far) international excursion to The Saint Audio Podcast Festival here in Oxford.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
