As an independent, community-owned business we are always mindful of the need to carefully balance the requirements of the business and those of our customers. Over the past year, due to the rising costs of utilities as well as increased fees from regular suppliers, the cost of running the UPP has risen substantially. As a result, from Wednesday 15th February we will be increasing the standard price of tickets by 50p. This increase is in line with the previous price rise back in 2019.

In addition to this, we will also be introducing a new peak price for Friday evenings and on weekends, which will be an additional £1 on the new price of standard tickets.

The price for our midweek matinees will remain the same, and our Annual Members can still enjoy £2 discounts on all ticket prices – saving money on trips to the cinema throughout the year. Tickets for our Parent + Baby Screenings (every other Thursday at 12.30pm) will also remain at £6.

Those who have signed up for our 15-25 Membership scheme will be pleased to know that we will continue to provide discounted tickets for 15-25 year-olds seven days-a-week. The 15-25 Membership will remain free to sign up for, with tickets costing just £5 each during standard price times (Monday–Thursday + Friday matinees) and £6.50 during the new peak times (Friday evenings and weekends).
