What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?U
In the Georgian riverside town of Kutaisi, summertime romance is in the air. After a chance encounter, a couple find their plans for a date undone when they both awaken physically transformed and with no way to recognise each other. An entrancing modern fairy-tale suffused with romance and magical wonder. Winner of the International Critics Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.
Reviews
‘There’s a languid kind of magic to Koberidze’s approach, which, with its enchanting score, digressive montages and sparse dialogue, has roots in silent cinema but also feels refreshingly and genuinely original.’
★★★★
Wendy Ide, The Observer
‘Infectiously charming and beautifully told. I could bask in Koberidze’s wonderful little world for far longer.’
★★★★
Caitlin Quinlan, Little White Lies

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
