The Outfit15

Directed by Graham Moore | USA | 2022 | 1h 45m | Starring Mark Rylance, Zoey Deutch, Simon Russell Beale, Johnny Flynn, Dylan O’Brien

In 1950s Chicago, an English suit maker – who left London’s Savile Row after a personal tragedy – becomes entangled in the misadventures of back-stabbing local mobsters. Set over the course of a single night and shot in a single location, this tense mystery thriller boasts a plot packed with entertaining twists and a sharp performance by Oscar-winning actor Mark Rylance.

Reviews

‘It follows a pattern set by countless gangster flicks of the past, but its freshness is in the intelligence and surprise of the script. Like a well-made suit, it’s not old-fashioned — it’s classic.’
★★★★
Olly Richards, Empire Magazine

‘Rylance’s heart may belong to the theatre, but the camera adores him. The old faker… he’s in a class of his own.’
★★★★
Charlotte O’Sullivan, London Evening Standard

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
