The HorMones: The Women are HereCert-TBC

Directed by Helen Sheppard and Christopher Baines | UK | 2026 | 40m

The HorMones are Oxford’s over-fifties women’s Punk sensation. Formed in 2023 when most of them couldn’t play their instruments, this nine-piece band – ranging in age from fifty-two to eighty – is now performing their own songs at festivals and attracting international attention. The documentary follows the band on and off stage as their reputation climbs, inspiring everyone that it’s never too late to achieve new things. Join them in their playfully angry mission to change the world! Following the film, the band will play a live set in the cinema.

The performance will contain some colourful language that may not be suitable for younger people.
