Together We Make presents: The Holiday (Craft-along screening)12A

Directed by Nancy Meyers | USA | 2006 | 2h 16m | Starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, Rufus Sewell

Two women, two broken relationships, one home swap. Amanda leaves Los Angeles for a snowy cottage in the English countryside, while Iris takes over her sunny LA house, both hoping to get through Christmas without thinking about their exes. Then each meets someone new. Nancy Meyers’s 2006 romcom stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black, and has become a go-to winter comfort watch.

This screening is presented by Together We Make, a crafting community centred around needle-based crafts such as knitting, crochet, and sewing. These sessions are designed as informal, low-pressure social gatherings where you can enjoy your craft in the company of like-minded people. The aim is to create a calm, creative community space where connection and creativity come first, without any expectations or pressure. Please note that there is absolutely no pressure to craft during the session. If you’d simply like to come along and watch the film, you’re very welcome to do so.

Please note that house lights will stay on at a medium level throughout the screening to make craft activities easier to see.
