The Fall Of Sir Douglas Weatherford15

Directed by Sean Robert Dunn | UK | 2026 | 1h 35m | Starring Peter Mullan, Jakob Oftebro, Saskia Ashdown, Dora Davis, Morag Cross

Kenneth makes his living as a tour guide, dressing up as Sir Douglas Weatherford, the town’s most celebrated historical figure, and a man Kenneth proudly claims as his own ancestor. When a big-budget fantasy TV show descends on the village to film, Kenneth becomes dangerously fixated on its lead actor, setting off a darkly comic and ultimately tragic downward spiral. Peter Mullan (I Swear) stars in Sean Dunn’s debut feature, a blackly comic tale about the blurry line between history and fantasy, and what happens when obsession fills the space between them.
