Sleep15

Directed by Jason Yu | South Korea | 2023 | 1h 35m | Korean w/ English subtitles | Starring Lee Sun-kyun, Jung Yu-mi, Kim Gook Hee, Yoon Kyung-ho

Late one night, a young woman is awakened by her husband’s sinister mutterings in his sleep. As the nights pass, his behaviour becomes increasingly unpredictable, escalating from sleep-talking to sleep-walking and hinting at something even more disturbing. Writer-director Jason Yu, who has previously collaborated with South Korean luminaries Lee Chang-dong and Bong Joon-ho, balances humour, horror, and suspense in his chilling directorial debut.

Reviews

‘Sleep is fun enough the first time out, but a second watch will likely reveal even more natty twists and smart scripting, nothing to snooze at here.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
