In a distant future where all plant life on Earth is extinct, an ecologist maintains a giant garden aboard a space station. Assisted by a small crew of humans and robots, he rebels after being ordered to destroy the greenhouse in favour of carrying commercial cargo. The directorial debut of sci-fi special effects maestro Douglas Trumbull (2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind) who died earlier this year.
‘Thoughtful, moving tale which places its spectacular effects within a humane, elegiac story.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
