Mickey 1715
Unlikely hero Mickey Barnes find himself in an extraordinary predicament, working for an employer who demands the ultimate sacrifice: dying for a living, again and again. As a cloned worker endlessly replaced after each death, Mickey number 17 is sent on a perilous mission to colonise a distant ice planet, where things take an unusual turn. Robert Pattison stars in Oscar-winning director Bong Joon-ho’s (Parasite, Memories Of Murder) darkly comic sci-fi thriller, adapted from Ashton Edward’s novel ‘Mickey7’.
Reviews
‘This is Pattinson at his best, holding his movie star charisma hostage in order to pursue loveable weirdos in all kinds of shades. He’s fully liberated here, consistently finding the most unexpected and delightful ways to deliver a line.’
★★★★★
Clarisse Loughery, The Independent
‘It’s unquestionably tremendous fun: a big, strange spectacle that’s unlike most blockbuster cinema out there.’
★★★★
Lou Thomas, Time Out

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
