Red Path15
In the remote mountains of Tunisia, two young shepherds, Achraf and Nizar, are captured by a group of jihadi militants. Ordered to deliver a brutal message to their village, Achraf is thrust into a harrowing journey that tests the limits of trauma and resilience. Inspired by true events, Lotfi Achour’s award-winning drama is a haunting meditation on the human cost of extremism and the tragic loss of innocence admits terror.
Reviews
‘Lofti Achour’s poignant film Red Path is based on real events, with a specific focus on how the young man works through his grief. It’s a powerful, unsparing film which paints an involving picture of individual trauma’
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
