One Fine Morning15
In Paris, a young mother juggles her job as a translator with caring both for her young daughter and elderly father. Her life suddenly becomes further complicated when she embarks on a passionate affair with an old friend in an unhappy marriage. Acclaimed filmmaker Mia Hansen-Løve’s (Things to Come, Eden) gently poignant romantic drama artfully explores the ways in which life’s most melancholic moments can coincide with its most exhilarating joys.
Reviews
‘Hansen-Løve hits a career high note, delivering a quietly thoughtful and ultimately life-affirming portrait of the strange interaction between loss and rebirth. It’s a miraculous balancing act that pretty much took my breath away.’

Mark Kermode, The Obsever
‘The irony of being intimately connected while desperately lonely can be a hard one to digest. Yet director Mia Hansen-Løve prods at the concept with the same tenderness that she applies to all her films.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
