Kino Kids Cinema Club: ZarafaPG
Join Maki, a brave Sudanese boy, on a heartwarming animated adventure! After escaping danger, Maki becomes the guardian of Zarafa, an orphaned giraffe who quickly becomes his dearest friend. Together with a colourful crew of explorers and merchants, Maki embarks on an extraordinary journey by sea and air to bring Zarafa to Paris, where she will be presented as a special gift to the King of France. This beautifully animated tale celebrates friendship, courage, and the special bond between a boy and his giraffe companion.
Tickets for Kino Kids Cinema Club screenings are £4 for Children (under-15s) and £6 for Adults. Screenings are relaxed, meaning that the sound will be turned down a notch, and the lights will be up a little, and we don’t mind if people make a bit of noise or move around during the film.
All children (aged 11 and under) must be accompanied by adults at all times, nor shall we admit adults who do not have children with them. If you have any questions or need any more information about these screenings, please feel free to get in touch by emailing us at: [email protected]

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
