Just An Illusion12A

Directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache | France | 2026 | 1h 59m | French w/ English subtitles | Starring Louis Garrel, Simon Boublil, Camille Cottin, Pierre Lottin, Giorgia Sinicorni

Suburban Paris, 1985. Twelve-year-old Vincent lives with a distant older brother and parents who won’t stop arguing. Between laughter and unease, he navigates friendship, first love, and his first real steps into the adult world. This heart-warming comedy pairs impressive performances from Louis Garrel (The Dreamers) and Camille Cottin (Call My Agent!) with the infectious energy of a 1980s soundtrack, capturing childhood’s mix of chaos and tenderness with real warmth and wit.
