Florence Park Talks presents: Robyn Cowen

Join us at The Ultimate Picture Palace for an evening with Robyn Cowen, BBC football commentator, followed by an audience Q&A.

Robyn studied at Oxford Brookes University and joined the BBC in 2011 as a sports reporter at BBC Radio Oxford. She moved to BBC Radio 5 Live in 2014 and joined the Match of the Day commentary team in 2018. At UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, she was lead commentator on BBC One for the England women’s matches, including the Lionesses’ victorious run to the final. A lifelong Oxford United fan, she co-hosts The Dub, the BBC Sounds podcast about the club.

The evening raises funds for our #SaveTheUPP campaign and for Oxford United in the Community, a local charity endorsed by OUFC that supports mental health. Tickets are £10.

Plan your visit

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
