The fascinating story of fearless French scientists Katia and Maurice Krafft, whose love for volcanoes was only matched by their love for each other. Famed for capturing stunning footage of eruptions from up close, the two left a legacy that enriched our knowledge of the natural world. A poetic celebration of the Krafft’s devotion to scientific adventure as well as each other, featuring some of the most explosive footage of volcanoes ever captured.

Reviews

‘A story of love and discovery told with curiosity and care, Dosa honours her unique subjects — lending tenderness and poetry to the archive footage.’
★★★★
Ella Kemp, Empire Magazine

‘The way this lyrical documentary, operating in the intersection between science and poetry, tells it, the danger of the eruptions was part of the attraction.’
★★★★
Wendy Ide, The Observer
