In the 1930s, three friends—a doctor, a nurse, and an attorney—witness a murder but soon become suspects themselves as they uncover one of the most outrageous conspiracies in North American history. David O Russell (American Hustle, Joy) directs this star-studded and richly intricate mystery-thriller that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction.

Reviews

‘An epic, sprawling and ambitious fable, it’s like a whimsical fairytale about the insidiousness of creeping authoritarianism and stopping a fascistic plot against America.’
Rodrigo Perez, The Playlist

‘There are some very good performances, and Washington has taken another step towards A-lister greatness.’
Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
