Oxford Pride presents: Maisie15

Directed by Lee Cooper | UK | 2022 | 1h 16m

As his 85th birthday approaches, Britain’s oldest drag performer, Maisie Trollette, prepares for the show of a lifetime. To mark the occasion, Darcelle XV—the world’s oldest drag queen—travels from the USA, giving these two stage legends the chance to meet for the first time. However, professional rivalries spark between feisty dame Maisie spirit and America’s regal queen. This captivating fly-on-the-wall documentary offers both humour and heart, painting a touching portrait of aging, friendship, and the enduring power of drag.

This screening will be preceded by the two following short films by Film Oxford.
