Rental Family12A
In modern-day Tokyo, Philip, a struggling American actor, feels lost in both his career and his life. His fortunes shift when he takes a job at a Japanese “rental family” agency, where he is hired to play stand-in roles for strangers. As Philip becomes immersed in his clients’ lives, he begins to form real connections that blur the line between performance and reality. Brendan Fraser returns to the screen following his Best Actor Oscar win for The Whale in this moving story about purpose, belonging, and the quiet power of human connection.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
